Carrie is currently the Head of Ant Financial international legal team, where she oversees legal and regulatory support to Ant Financial’s international business in more than 50 countries and regions. Ant Financial is dedicated to using technology to bring the world equal opportunities. Its technologies, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, security, Internet of Things and computing, empower its ecosystem partners to serve the unbanked and underbanked worldwide.
Prior to joining Alibaba and Ant Financial, Carrie’s practice focused on mergers and acquisitions for private equity and corporate clients at leading US law firm Weil Gotshal & Manges. She also has experience in equity offerings and corporate governance matters involving Hong Kong public companies. Carrie received her law degree from London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Economics from University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
