Jennifer Sung

Jennifer leads Business Development & Investor Relations at Lend East, a digital lending platform focused on providing structured debt solutions to alternative lenders in Southeast Asia and India. She has raised US$ 10 million for the platform till date.

Over the past six years Jennifer has accumulated a unique combination of professional experiences in financial services, technology and venture capital across India, EMEA and Southeast Asia. She started her career as an investment banker at Deutsche bank, working across a spectrum of multibillion-dollar transactions in M&A and Equity markets.

After three years with Deutsche Bank in Mumbai and London, she joined Lendingkart (LK), a leading Indian alternate lender focused on small business financing. At LK, Jennifer led a variety of strategic partnerships and launch of new credit products. In her last role, she managed investor relations for the venture, raising over US$ 90 million in debt & equity.

Passionate about financial inclusion, Jennifer worked as a consultant with Cashless Catalyst, a joint venture between USAID & the Indian Ministry of Finance to setup a fintech focused incubator. She conceptualised the process to use sachet credit as a hook for adoption of digital payments Tier 2 cities.

Jennifer holds an MBA from INSEAD. She graduated with an honours degree in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
